In this award-winning scheme in an International Competition, the city centre is conceived as the heart and soul of the project, envisaged as a dynamic link between the academic buildings which constitute the main flow of students and the city with all its social activities.
The Academic Mall and the City Centre’s main circulation is organised in a sequence of paths, riwaqs, piazzas and juxtaposed spaces. The design concept is strongly influenced by the environment of the local heritage and its specific topograph
