Indian embassy residence

AMBS as invited to compete in the redevelopemnt of this unique corner plot located in Rabat.

The brief was to create a residential building for the embassy staff that made aethetic and visual connections between Morocco and India.

The project was started from the idea of a whole, expressing the unity. Designed with the intent of not only representing a lotus, but also creating a symbolic structure to embody peace and love between India and Morocco.

A symbol of relations between the two countries, this project is the expression of a dialogue between Morocco and India, stressing the importance of relations between them as well as the scope of their trade and public affairs.

The physical form of the building has been determined by the need to create a structure which has a distinctive presence and entices people to stay and flourish. Bloom apartments provides an immaculate environment conducive to deep relaxation and meditation.
